Determining the architecture that best suites your needs in an accurate
and inexpensive way can only be done through having the proper knowledge,
experience and tools.
One of the major challenges faced by network managers today is ensuring
that network designs will in fact provide the expected results. A wrong
assumption or simple design decision can lead to poor results which
can result on the isolation of data that later has to be interconnected
through an add-on piece or through a new redesign of the infrastructure.
Add-on pieces approach eventually leads to an unmanageable design which
is just a challenge to manage and change.
A correct design will convey an overall understanding of an organization's
information related components and how these components relate to each
other which in turn will increase the infrastructure reliability, performance,
availability, connectivity and plan for future requirements minimizing
the time needed to add those later needed resources.
